The set contains 12 sheets (size: 0.50 x 0.75 m approx). The set of twelve sheets covers approximately 4 m².

The wallpaper sheets can be hung vertically or horizontally, which means you can decorate any wall, whatever the nooks and crannies. It can be put up on an entire surface like a classic wallpaper, or you can create your own pattern, placing the sheets as you like: for example, if you want to create a headboard.

Each wallpaper sheet is printed by hand in the batik method and is totally unique. Please embrace any imperfection, it’s part of the magic of this ancestral technique.

The thin (yet robust), slightly translucent paper emphasises the natural vintage look and will give your space a cozy and earthy atmosphere.

The wallpapering is easier since the sheets are put up one after the other and don't need to match.

It is advisable to keep the fringed edges and to see the delimitation of each sheet, these elements are the hallmark of this wallpaper.

DISCLAIMER: Due it’s 100% artisanal production, there might be differences in colour and texture between each paper.

Before starting your job, you can place next to each other to create smoother transitions if needed.

APPLICATION INFO:

DISCLAIMER: Due the to partially transparent nature of the waxed paper, we recommend preparing the surface by applying the desired colour first. Otherwise the old paint job might be seen through the transparent parts of the new wallpaper.

- Clean the surface first. Then prepare the glue.

- Once the surface is ready, use a brush to apply the glue on the back of the sheet (the side on which the pattern is less pronounced).

- Place the sheet on the desired surface starting from the top. If you feel an air bubble, gently move it towards the edges with the wallpapering smoothing tool.

- Repeat until the paper sheet lays flat on the surface.

- When applying additional sheets, you can place them next to each other or in a slightly overlapping manner. Due to the manufacturing process, the edges of the sheets are slightly uneven, so a slight overlap might be more appropriate.

- If you hang the individual sheets edge-to-edge, you can create a smoother and more unified surface by gently moving a sponge over the borders. This will spread the paint slightly and even out the edges.

Excess paper at walls or at the horizontal starting line can be removed with a cutter knife.
